How To Know Your NOUN Semester CGPA

How to know your overall progress or regress at the end of each semester. One can calculate your GPA without your Credit units for the registered courses. So your course registration slip for that semester contains the credit unit for these courses that you now have the results.

Below is the Five Grading System

  1. A – 5 points
  2. B – 4 points
  3. C – 3 points
  4. D – 2 points
  5. E – 1 point

For instance, you offered; ENG101 – 2 credit units and GST102 – 3 credit units. Then you had an A for ENG101 and a C for GST102. Your Grade Point (GP) for ENG101 is A which is equal to 5 points and GST102 C which will sum up to 3 points.

SEE: How To Calculate NOUN CGPA

How to Calculate NOUN CGPA:

ENG101: A = 5 points x 2 credit units = 10 points.
GST102: C = 3 points x 3 credit units = 9 points

This means your Grade Point Average (GPA) is 10 + 9 points = 19 points (For the two courses you offered). 2 + 3 credit units = 5 credit units (For the two courses you offered) GPA = 19/5 = 3.8

A GPA of 3.8 means Second class upper in NOUN or 2:1
